Rupert Neve Designs maakt met deze 517 in de PORTICO serie een High End mic preamp in luchbox formaat voor de meest professionele studio geluidskaart en top studio microfoons. Zeer hoog detail, comprossor ingebouwd en ook DI box.
De Portico 517 is een "Lunchbox" 500-series formaat DI/Preamp/Compressor met regelbare fase en mixfunctie voor DI en Mic Pre. De Portico 517 is bedoeld om in een zogenaamde 500 series "lunchbox" (API standaard) in te bouwen en maakt gebruik van de centrale voeding daarvan.

Mic gain is from 0dB to 66dB. Overall gain to restore the apparent program level

Provides 48v phantom power to microphones. Controlled by the 48V switch.
Polarity reverse
Reverses the polarity of the mic input
Threshold
When signals exceed the "threshold" level, the gain is reduced at a controlled 2:1 ratio, with fixed attack and release time constants.
